Build with a team.
Start with a problem you care about, a tool you want to try, or an idea from someone you just met. Work together to turn it into a project.
BeaverHacks is Oregon State University’s student-led hackathon. Build with a team, learn from other people, and turn an idea into something real.

A hackathon is a weekend spent making something with other people. You work on a project, get help along the way, and finish by showing what you built.
Start with a problem you care about, a tool you want to try, or an idea from someone you just met. Work together to turn it into a project.
Workshops, mentors, and other students are part of the weekend. Ask questions, compare approaches, and learn by getting things working.
Bring your project together into a demo. Tell the story of what you tried and what you learned, then see what the other teams made.
You must be 18 or older and graduating in the fall before the event or later.
Talk with the organizers about the event, mentoring, or getting involved.
